Novosibirsk State Museum of Local History and Nature

The Novosibirsk State Museum of Local History and Nature consist of three levels, with new exhibitions.

The ground floor displays archeology, the first floor takes one through the history of SIberia and Russian Colonisation of the territories, until the WWII, and the second floor is for temporary exhibition.

There are times the museum is closed to the public.

Novosibirsk State Art Museum

The Novosibirsk State Art Museum is housed in an impressive soviet era building built 1926. The museum exhibits both classical and modern artwork and attracts over 150 thousand visitors a year. The highlight is the museum’s collection of 65 original paintings by Nikolai Rerikh.

Lenin Square

Lenin Square is the main square of Novosibirsk located in the Tsentralny City District. On warm days families gather in the gardens surrounding the three impressive statues.
